Every morning we review the five best pitches from the previous day’s games in glorious HD GIFs. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite pitch and and check back this weekend to see if it will be in contention for the GIF of the Week. Did we miss your favorite pitch? Send us a tweet next time @ThePitcherList and we’ll GIF it up + give you a shoutout here in the article.

David Price’s Slider – We often don’t get the best camera angles to appreciate Price’s pitches from the left side of the rubber, but the Braves gave us an excellent look at the bend of this Slider as it cruised back over the plate to a stunned Freddie Freeman.

David Price’s Changeup – We couldn’t decide between the pair of Price pitches, so we featured both today. This Changeup perfectly nails the bottom corner of the strikezone as Cameron Maybin swings way over the top. Notice how much drop it got in the corner strikezone graphic.

Dallas Keuchel’s Slider – Dallas ran into a bunch of trouble in the first inning of yesterday’s loss, but he still through this sweet breaker to Bobby Wilson. I know you think this is a Curveball – I’m inclined to agree – but every outlet labels this is Keuchel’s Slider as the Houston ace doesn’t feature a hook in his repertoire.

Hisashi Iwakuma’s Splitter – The Japanese import had himself a game against the Angels, striking out nine across just six innings of work. His signature Splitter was in full force, generating a bunch of depth as it struck out David Freese.

Dellin Betances‘ Curveball – He had walked the bases loaded, but Betances found a way out of his self-inflicted jam but dropping this doozy of a hook to James Loney. (Thanks to sjrossman0 for the tip!)

Gio Gonzalez’s Curveball – Gio earned himself his second double-digit strikeout effort in three games by sitting down twelve Phillies Wednesday night. His big Curveball made many bats miss, including Aaron Altherr’s in the first inning.
