Dallas Keuchel’s Changeup – Dallas Keuchel threw six innings in this game, giving up three earned runs with five strikeouts and one walk. It’s a pretty standard start for the guy. This Changeup to Josh Phegleyhowever, is anything but standard as he has him reaching for the 0-2 pitch. Don’t reach.

Alex Wood’s Curveball – Alex Wood had one of his best outings of the season last night in Arlington, pitching seven scoreless with five strikeouts. Woody hasn’t allowed more than three earned in a start since the third of June, and the location and execution of this Curveball demonstrate just why.

CC Sabathia’s Slider – Hey, look at CC tossing an entry into the Nastiest Pitches. At thirty-eight, the man continues to be a steady force in this Yankee rotation.  Let’s appreciate this nasty slide piece here that completely locks up Adam Engel to send him back to the dugout.

Reynaldo Lopez’s Changeup – An impressive line from Reynaldo Lopez against the Bronx Bombers. Lopez allowed only one earned run through seven innings while striking out six and walking two. This Changeup here to Brett Gardner has some ridiculous run to it.

Joey Lucchesi’s Curveball – A great day here for Joey Lucchesi as he matched a career high of nine strikeouts, while having his longest outing of the season going 6 2/3. The man’s undeniable talent is reflected in the depth of this beautiful Curveball to Kyle Seager.

Mike Minor’s Changeup – Mike Minor pitched well in this home matchup against the Dodgers, only allowing two hits in six innings of work. Unfortunately for Minor, those two hits happened to be homers from Cody Bellinger and Manny Machado. At least you got him with this filthy Changeup here, Mike….take solace in that.

Sean Newcomb’s Curveball – The regression is starting to set in for Sean Newcombas he has been shelled in three of his last four outings. The swing-and-miss stuff is still there, though, as demonstrated by this loopy Curveball and you have to understand why Braves fans are excited about his future.

Lifelong Dodger fan. Left the famous 2004 Steve Finley walk-off homer game in the ninth inning to clinch the division because his Giants fan cousin was late for work. Would've stayed, but I was nine.

Matt “The Red Knight” Harvey had one of the nastiest sliders I’ve ever seen, preceded by a 98 mph heater, and no mention. Made Eric Thames look absolutely foolish. WTF!

    Southpaws day!
