Every morning we review the nastiest pitches from the previous day’s games in glorious HD GIFs. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite pitch and and check back this weekend to see if it will be in contention for the GIF of the First Half. Did we miss your favorite pitch? Send us a tweet next time @ThePitcherList and we’ll GIF it up + give you a shoutout here in the article.

Craig Kimbrel’s Slider – Oriole fans were hoping for a last minute comeback to preserve their undefeated season, but Kimbrel shut the door with some filthy stuff.  He fooled Manny Machado badly on this 88 MPH Slider down and away. (Thanks to @ShafiqDe for the tip!)

Jerad Eickhoff’s Curveball – It was a fantastic outing for Eickhoff, fanning nine batters as he earned the Win against the Padres.  His hook froze many batters, and this beauty to Wil Myers was particularly fun to watch.

Yordano Ventura’s Fastball – Ventura has one of the sharpest Curveballs in the game, but it was this riding Fastball that charged high and tight to Carlos Gomez that had us needing a shower. (Thanks to Redditor /u/g00dn1ghtm4r3 for the tip!)

Carlos Rodon’s Slider – Like his fellow teammate Chris SaleRodon makes a living with a wipeout Slider that can dispose batters at will.  He ended the first inning with this breaker that featured unreal movement. (Thanks to @SackMachine85 for the tip!)

Carlos Carrasco’s Curveball – Carrasco was locked in Wednesday night against the Rays and he found his groove early.  Carlos climbed back into the count with a smooth 2-1 Curveball that traveled from the outside corner to under Corey Dickerson’s hands in the blink of an eye. (Thanks to @bulkner_chip for the tip!)
