Chaz Roe’s Slider – Hello old friend. Roe is back, and with that comes his absolutely ridiculous, hurricane slider. Here he reacquaints himself with rookie Miguel Andujar for a wicked strike three.

Victor Alcantara’s Splitter – Woof. The Tigers got pummeled on Thursday, but at least fans can revel in this nasty 93 mile per hour splitter that runs way off the plate from rookie reliever Victor Alcantara.

Shane Greene’s Fastball – I was hard on Tigers fans in my last post, so I’ll give them two today. Here Detroit’s closer uses his heater with heavy arm side run to get a nice swing and a miss from Ehire Adrianza.

Ty Buttrey’s Slider – Buttrey made his big league debut on Thursday, flashing a high-90’s fastball and a wicked slider, here getting a big whiff from Delino DeShields.

Masahiro Tanaka’s Splitter – It’s been a day filled with heavy arm side run. Tanaka tossed six innings of two-run ball on Thursday, striking out six. He used his nasty split-finger to freeze catcher Michael Perez.

David Robertson’s Curveball – Robertson’s sharp knuckle-curve was on point on Thursday, here getting a drop to the knee from Kevin Kiermaier.
