Any way you slice it, Mookie Betts is having a disappointing season offensively thus far. In terms of batting average, his .279 BABIP suggests there should be some positive regression coming. He is far too talented of a hitter to remain in the .260s for long.

Batting average is very difficult to find on the wire. Avisail Garcia is enjoying a nice little year offensively so far. He has pretty much stuffed the stat sheet with an AVG over .300, 11 HRs, and 6 SBs.

Since the beginning of May, Walker Buehler has been absolutely nails. He has a sub-1.00 WHIP and a 2.15 ERA over that time. Yeah, he’s really good.

Not much movement here. Max Scherzer has proven critics from early on wrong and has now posted 10 straight quality starts with a 2.01 ERA over that span. He is still the best going right now.

Brad Keller is far from exciting of a name to add, but he has notched four quality starts in his last five turns. He is definitely matchup-dependent but you could do a lot worse.
