Welcome back to Relievers to Stream for Wins and Saves! This will bring you up-to-date bullpen depth charts every morning for the day’s games and makes for a great tool for those of you looking to stream saves or wins. This series runs seven days a week, so be sure to check in every morning to get your daily bullpen fix!

Schedule Notes

 

• The following teams have a scheduled off day this coming Monday and may feel more comfortable pushing their high leverage bullpen arms over the weekend knowing they have the built in rest day coming up: BOS, NYY, TOR, TB, CWS, DET, KC, LAA, SEA, MIA, PHI, WAS, PIT, STL, COL, SFG
• The Mets are set to play eight games in the next seven days, including doubleheaders on Saturday, Monday, and Friday.

 

• Baltimore and Houston do not have another scheduled off day in the month of June, while the Dodgers’ next off day isn’t until June 30th.

 

Yesterday’s Performances

 

• Seattle opted to use Kendall Graveman in the eighth inning to preserve their four-run lead over Tampa Bay on Friday night. It should be noted that Graveman faced the 2-3-4 hitters of the Rays’ lineup, putting them down in short order, needing just 10 pitches to complete the frame.
• Jake McGee collected his 14th save of the season, pitching around one hit to close out the Giants’ victory over the Phillies on Friday. Tyler Rogers pitched a perfect eighth inning, striking out one on his way to his 12th hold. Friday marked the third straight save opportunity that McGee and Rogers have alternated as they continue to look to make up the Giants’ two-headed monster at the back end of Gabe Kapler’s bullpen.

 

• Arizona’s Stefan Crichton was asked to clean up the mess left by Joe Mantiply in the eighth inning. Crichton’s overall line looks fine – three outs, one walk, no earned runs – but he allowed both inherited runners to score off a sacrifice fly and a balk. The inning set up Kenley Jansen the ability to pick up his 17th save of the season, pitching a perfect 1-2-3 ninth inning for the Dodgers.
• Daniel Bard took his fourth blown save of the season for the Rockies after allowing the Brewers to tie the game in the top of the ninth inning off a pair of lead-off doubles to Omar Narvaez and Willy Adames. Brewers’ Josh Hader pushed the game into extra innings after needing just seven pitches to get through his perfect frame. Jhoulys Chacin walked into his first win of the season after pitching a clean top of the tenth inning and thanks to a C.J. Cron walk-off single off Devin Williams to lead off the bottom of the inning.

 

• Ryan Pressly recorded his fourth win of the season after striking out the side for the Astros, thanks to a walk-off double by Yordan Alvarez in the bottom of the ninth inning off White Sox reliever Garrett Crochet.
• Ian Kennedy preserved the Rangers’ tie with the Twins in the ninth inning, pitching around two hits and striking out one. Unfortunately for the Rangers, Josh Sborz would go on to allow three runs (two earned) off three walks and a hit in the top of the tenth, leading to his third loss on the season. This did however lead to Minnesota’s Hansel Robles to pick up his third win of the season after he pitched a perfect bottom frame of the ninth inning for the Twins, while Tyler Duffy recorded his second save of the year, allowing just the inherited ghost runner to score off two hits in the tenth.

 

• Lou Trivino collected his 12th save of the season Friday, with Jake Diekman and Yusmeiro Petit each collecting a hold as they bridged the gap between starter James Kaprielian and Trivino.
• Tanner Scott and Hunter Harvey were each able to pick up a hold for the Orioles on Friday, but after Baltimore scored five runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, Paul Fry was left settling for preserving a six-run lead instead of a save opportunity. Fry pitched around one hit and collected a strikeout in his scoreless inning of work.

 

• Richard Rodriguez recorded his eighth save of the season, allowing two hits and collecting two strikeouts as he preserved Pittsburgh’s 11-10 victory over Cleveland on Friday. Rodriguez’s opportunities have been far and few between, with his last converted save coming on June 3rd and prior to that he had not put up a save for fantasy rosters since May 8th. Rodriguez remains a strong candidate to be moved as the trade deadline approaches at the end of July
• Edwin Diaz took the loss for the Mets after allowing a lead-off walk and a pair of singles and failing to collect any outs. After pitching a perfect top portion of the ninth, Washington’s Brad Hand was credited with his fourth win of the season thanks to the Yan Gomes walk-off single off Diaz.

 

• The Royals used six pitchers Friday, with Kyle Zimmer receiving the start and being the only Kansas City pitcher to walk away with some sort of decision in the game. Kris Bubic came in to relieve Zimmer to start the third and walked away with his second win, while Ervin Santana, Jake Brentz, and Scott Barlow picking up holds throughout the game. Greg Holland was tapped to close it out and picked up his fourth save of the year after pitching a perfect ninth against and solidifying the Royals’ 5-3 victory over the Red Sox. Friday’s save was the first Kansas City save recorded since Scott Barlow picked up his second of the year on June 3rd. As much as anyone may want Josh Staumont to be “the guy” in Kansas City, it remains a situation in flux.
