Every morning we review the five best pitches from the previous day’s games in glorious HD GIFs. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite pitch and and check back this weekend to see if it will be in contention for the GIF of the Week. Did we miss your favorite pitch? Send us a tweet next time @ThePitcherList and we’ll GIF it up + give you a shoutout here in the article.

Brett Cecil’s Curveball – It was a tight spot for the Blue Jays’ reliever, but he struck out three straight Yankee batters to now total 27 consecutive innings without an ER to his name. He ended the frame with this fantastic hook to Brian McCann and couldn’t help but show some emotion.

Eduardo Rodriguez’s Fastball – Erod settled down after a rocky start for the Sawx yesterday, and his Fastball was tailing away from batters all night. Check it out here as he struck out J.P. Arencibia with a perfectly spotted heater.

David Hernandez’s Curveball – This may be the only time Hernandez is featured in this List in 2015, but his spot today is well deserved after throwing this Curveball with a boatload of movement to Scott Schebler

Jeurys Familia’s Splitter – It may not be at the blistering 96 MPH we’ve seen before from Familia, but this Splitter completely fell off the table to Cameron Maybin to seal the victory for the Mets. Simply nasty.

Dallas Keuchel’s Slider – Keuchel’s Slider is a big reason for his improved strikeout rate this season, and he fanned one of the best players in the game with this slide piece near Mike Trout’s ankles.
