Every morning we review the nastiest pitches from the previous day’s games in glorious HD GIFs. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite pitch and check back this weekend to see if it will be in contention for the GIF of the First Half Contest. Did we miss your favorite pitch? Send us a tweet next time @ThePitcherList and we’ll GIF it up + give you a shoutout here in the article.

Blake Treinen’s Fastball – Sometimes there are pitches that just boggle our mind and Treinen’s Sinker does just that. The amount of drop this pitch gets at 99mph is unreal, making us happy someone is carrying the torch as Zach Britton sits on the DL. (Thanks to Redditor Weegian for the tip!)

R.A. Dickey’s Knuckleball – Whenever Dickey is on the hill, there’s plenty of potential for some GIFable pitches and last night did not disappoint. Watch this pitch change direction multiple times and not complete a single revolution as it arrives to the plate against Michael Saunders.

Alec Asher’s Fastball – Asher had a tough challenge Thursday night as he faced the Nationals and a rugged first inning did him in for the start. Still, he battled through the start and used his Fastball’s elite movement to collect a few strikeouts, like this beautiful pitch to Matt Wieters to end the fourth. It’s almost as if we’ve seen this before…

Joakim Soria‘ Curveball – Striking out the side for your sole inning of relief is always fun and Soria did just that yesterday against the Astros. His first punchout came on an elegant Curveball that fell from the heavens into the strikezone to freeze Alex Bregman (Thanks to Redditor eggsmith for the tip!)

Patrick Corbin’s Slider – Corbin earned eight strikeouts as he had a date with the Padres in Arizona, using his Slider to create uncomfortable at-bats. One look at the pitch against Franchy Cordero should make you understand completely.

Michael Fulmer’s Fastball – Fulmer didn’t have the afternoon he wanted, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t make some stellar pitches. The amount of ride he gets on this 95mph Fastball is fantastic and completely ate up Albert Pujols.
