Clint Frazier Total Hits: O/U 0.5
It has only been four games, but Red Thunder is on fire since being called up by the Yankees. While Clint Frazier is not a fan of that nickname, he has to be happy with the way he has produced for the Bronx Bombers in place of the injured Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge. Slashing .533/.563/.1.133 with two HRs and coming in at third on FTN Bets’ Hot Hitter Report, Frazier should be able to put some good ABs together against Martin Perez. While Perez has been serviceable for the Red Sox in four starts (3.38 ERA), his 5.33 xFIP suggests he is bound to regress a little.

Tigers vs White Sox Total Runs: O/U 9.5
Plain and simple, Matt Boyd can’t stop giving up runs. His home run problems from 2019 have followed him into 2020 and his Barrel% and Hard Hit% are way up while his Swinging Strike% is down. Boyd has allowed seven runs in each of his last two starts, including last Wednesday against these same White Sox. Gio Gonzalez meanwhile isn’t pitching much better (6.61 ERA, 5.40 xFIP) and he gets to face baseball’s second-best offense against LHP in Detroit (.393 wOBA). Expect there to be a lot of traffic around home plate in this one.

Angels Total Runs: O/U 5.5
Anthony Rendon and Mike Trout are heating up according to FTN Bets’ Hot Hitter Report and it feels like the Halos’ offense is close to breaking out. Enter Tyler Anderson, he of the miraculous 3.63 ERA but also a 6.36 xFIP and 0.82 K/BB ratio. FTN Daily has the Angels’ projected run total conservatively at 5.1 runs and I think they might reach 6 runs before Anderson exits the game.
