Braves @ Orioles Total Runs O/U 10

Two of the more dangerous offenses in baseball go to battle on Tuesday when the Braves take on Baltimore. The Orioles took it to Atlanta on Monday scoring a 14-1 victory. D.J. Stewart and Ryan Mountcastle have been on fire at the plate and sit near the top of FTN Bets’ Hot Hitter Report. However, Freddie Freeman has also been one of the hottest hitters in baseball and the Braves as a team have been pretty good offensively over the past week (130 wRC+).

Huascar Ynoa was pounded for 6 ER in 2.1 IP against the Nationals last time out and Thomas Eshelman simply doesn’t have the arsenal to deal with a lineup as loaded as Atlanta’s. I expect both teams to score early and often and this game should hit the over again like it did on Monday.

Pick: OVER 10 (-125 DK)

Indians @ Cubs Total Runs First 3 Innings O/U 2.5

Yu Darvish is looking Cy Young-worthy in 2020 and Carlos Carrasco has been just as good over his last three starts. While the Cubs have been shut out in 2 of their last 5 games, the Indians have struggled to score runs all season (83 wRC+). In an effort to avoid both bullpens, I am looking to take advantage of both starters ability to get dominate each lineup the first time through. Taking the under for the first 3 innings is the play here.

Pick: UNDER 2.5 (-121 DK)

Athletics @ Rockies Total Runs O/U 11.5

11.5 just seems like way too low of a total here for this pitching matchup in Coors Field. Antonio Senzatela comes into the day with a surprising 3.69 ERA, but his FIP is a full run higher at 4.69. Facing an Oakland lineup that has been very good recently (114 wRC+ over the last 7) in Colorado does not inspire a lot of confidence in me for the 25-year old, who has a career 5.22 ERA at home. While Sean Manaea has been very good of late, his offspeed stuff that he relies on will flatten in the high altitude and the Rockies have scored 5 or more runs in 6 of their last 10. The average run total for a game in Coors Field this season is 12.9, so I’m going to say this one gets over 11.5

Pick: OVER 11.5 (-112 DK, -118 FD)
