Anibal Sanchez’s Changeup – Sanchez broke out this nasty slo-mo pitch against Yasmani Grandal in the 5th inning. This changeup rung up at 65.8 MPH on the radar gun and rung up Grandal in the process.

Craig Kimbrel’s Curveball – Kimbrel can bring the heat, but he also has a brutal knuckle curve like this on he threw against Daniel Palka.  8 of his 15 pitches in this save were actually curveballs.

Steve Cishek’s Fastball – As if his sidearm motion isn’t enough, Cishek’s 2 seamer here is just not hittable.  Starts out in the zone and runs in Jordy Mercer with some nasty action.

Tyler Skaggs‘ Curveball – Skaggs has a nice sweeping curveball and he rings up Brian Dozier with this beauty to end the 5th.  This pitch was key to his 8 Ks over 7 innings agains the Twins.

Kevin Gausman’s Splitter – Gausman had a nice outing against the Blue Jays and threw this bottom dropping splitter to the tune of a 23% whiff rate over 6.2 innings.

Jon Lester’s Cutter – Seriously, the movement on this cutter is insane.  This pitch ends up in the other batters box.  Good night Polanco but don’t worry – no one else is hitting this pitch either.

Tyson Ross‘ Slider – I got a riddle for you:  Who takes a knee to a Tyson Ross strike 3 slider?  Yeah, this pitch is unfair against lefties and that’s why Ross throws it.  JT Riddle goes down as most lefties would here on this one.

Roenis Elias’ Curveball – You spin me right round, baby right round, like a strikeout baby.  Is this pitch mean?  A little.  It sure made Joey Wendle look pretty foolish.

Kyle Gibson’s Fastball – Did someone leave the backdoor open?  Justin Upton is always good for some strikeouts and this Gibson 94 MPH back door fastball was the perfect pitch to ring him up.
