Alright, that article title is confusing. I’ve elected to combine two of my weekly articles into one massive one for the final two weeks of the season, as telling you guys who to sit/start down the stretch is a lot more useful than a near impossible List due to small sample size.

Here’s a quick reminder of how this table works: There are three labels: StartMaybe, and Sit. Outings marked with a Maybe are circumstantial and dependent on your needs in a 12-teamer, while the other two are self-explanatory.

These two weeks are definitely not set in stone and do not hesitate to ask about them in the comments. I had a little more “Maybes” than usual given the higher necessity for streaming down the stretch, which in turn created a wider range for the middle tier.

Enough stalling, here’s the massive table for the final two weeks of the season:

Nick! If I can only start one or two of these guys, which is the better matchup for my points league?

    Pomeranz vs. BAL
    Lamet vs. ARI
    Duffy vs. CHW
    Marquez vs. SDP
    Maeda vs. PHI
    Berrios vs. DET

Thoughts on Cueto vs. Col today? I know you tabbed him with “maybe” do you think this could be an upside play?

    • Nick Pollack says:

Yep, definitely an upside play though there is a sizable floor as Cueto has been sporadic through the year + the Rockies can turn it on while playing on the road.

      • Bobby says:

Still can’t believe I drafted him as my “ace” and even with him as a bust I’m still in the championship matchup this week. A lot of which had to do with your advice so thanks! What do you think happened to him this year? Blisters? Injury? Age? Do you see him as great buy-low in the drafts next year similar to what Grienke was this year?

  3. Jaboy says:

Are you worried about McHugh being on a pitch count and/or exiting early due to his fingernail issue?

I like Marquez a lot, but think McHugh performs much better all things being equal.

@nick pollack h2h points finals. Would you stream Chatwood or junis tomorrow ? Corbin and bundy screwed me yesterday so im already down 10 points. I have Archer Nola and Godley going today. I dont feel good about Archer though.

Looks like Alex Wood’s start is 9/25 according to Yahoo. Will that mean he gets another start on 9/30?

    • Nick Pollack says:

I’m seeing the 26th for Wood with the Dodgers in a six-man rotation. Could be wrong, who knows down the stretch.

Could mean Wood gets the last game of the season in Coors as they wouldn’t be using Wood as the Game 1/2/3 starter (Kershaw, Darvish, Hill).
