It’s been another exciting week of baseball with many excellent pitches from around the league. You’ve been voting all week, now the top pitches battle for the crown of “Pitching GIF of the Week”. Who will win? Did we miss your favorite pitch? Send us a tweet next time @ThePitcherList and we’ll GIF it up + give you a shoutout here in the article.

Aaron Nola’s Curveball – Sometimes you can be one of the best hitters in the game and just have a bad at-bat. Here Anthony Rizzo gets so fooled by Nola’s Curveball that he whiffs while the ball hits him in the knee. It takes some serious filth to make that happen.

Noah Syndergaard’s Fastball – It was a sparkling Tuesday night for the Mets rookie as he was perfect heading into the 7th inning. Check out this 98 MPH Fastball with movement that nips the inside corner at the knees to stun Yangervis Solarte.

Aaron Sanchez’s Curveball – After a stint in the rotation, Sanchez has been doing work for the Jays out of the pen. He did well on Thursday, and snapped off this sweet hook to strikeout Alcides Escobar. (Thanks to Reddit user tomstoms for the tip!)

Sergio Romo’s Slider – We haven’t featured much Romo this year, but he still has his signature frisbee slider. He ended Monday’s game with a luscious slide piece to Jean Segura that darted well off the plate. (Thanks to @iSas03 for the tip!)

Carlos Martinez’s Fastball – Often it’s Carlos’ Changeup or Slider that steal the show, but this Fastball in on the hands of Chris Johnson left us in disbelief. That’s 96 MPH with excellent movement as it starts along the inside corner before entering no-man’s land.

Trevor Bauer’s Curveball – It was a tough loss for Bauer as he allowed just 2 ER across all nine innings, but he stuff was working. This hook in the first inning to shut down Lorenzo Cain was a beaut.

Corey Kluber’s Slider – So the pitch itself doesn’t look too spectacular, even though it buckled the knees of Alex Rios. However, once you get the behind-the-plate angle, you begin to realize how tough it is to hit Kluber’s breaker. I think we’d all have missed this one.
