Round 1: Clayton Kershaw vs. Clayton Kershaw

First we have a pair of pitches from what has often been heralded as the best pitch in baseball from the best pitcher in the world. Clayton Kershaw throws one heck of a Curveball, and he tossed a pair of benders in the second half that made us giddy. First up is a big hook that gets major bonus points from inducing a whiff from leading NL MVP Candidate Bryce Harper. It has some serious competition though, facing a pitch that made Jarrett Parker look the fool, flinching endlessly as Kershaw’s yacker fell into the zone for a called strike three.
