Dylan Bundy’s Slider – This Bundy slider was huge and beautiful.  That movement is just plain ridiculous and when you get a batter to complete a 360 degree spin, you know you are throwing knockout stuff.

Joakim Soria’s Curveball – Soria’s big bendy curve is pretty.  Russel Martin is left defenseless as this beauty starts at head level and drops in perfectly on the inside corner.   (Thanks to @d_pungitore  for the tip!)

Corey Kluber’s Fastball – Kluber only made one mistake in this game (a 2 run shot to Shohei Ohtani), but he was otherwise lethal with a great mix of pitches.  This fastball starts out way inside and impossible to hit – but thanks to the late movement it hits the inside corner and rings up a non swinging Kole Calhoun. (Thanks to Redditor No32 for the tip!)

Brad Peacock’s Slider – Brad Peacock’s slider is pretty much unfair and Trey Mancini looked like he was swinging at an invisible golf ball here.  Peacock rung up 5 batters in his 3 innings of relief.

Taylor Rogers‘ Fastball – Maybe the snow enhances the effect but Taylor Rogers fastball was magical.  It started out as as outside strike but that late break made this two seamer a perfect final blow.  This was only one of two outs for Rogers today and it was spectacular against Bell who had already homered in this game.

Aaron Sanchez’s Changeup – The late movement on Sanchez’s changeup is the stuff nightmares are made of.  You aren’t hitting this pitch and Tim Anderson barely stayed on his feet after this swing.

Johnny Cueto’s Fastball – Ichiro Suzuki knows how to hit and Cuento made him look just plain silly on this one.  That location and movement was so perfect it made Suzuki back away on a perfect strike three.

Carlos Martinez deserved to be on here…he had a changeup last night that looked like a screwball it was so filthy.

    • Aaron Martin says:

I was coming to write exactly this. It topped all of these.
