Every morning we review the five best pitches from the previous day’s games in glorious HD GIFs. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite pitch and and check back this weekend to see if it will be in contention for the “GIF of the Week”. Did we miss your favorite pitch? Send us a tweet next time @ThePitcherList and we’ll GIF it up + give you a shoutout here in the article.

Julio Teheran’s Slider – It has been a rocky season for the Braves starter, but Teheran has started to pick up the slack in the second half. He had a decent effort yesterday and made Carlos Gonzalez look silly on this Slider off the plate. (Thanks to Reddit user Gunkwei (Matt) for the tip!)

Corey Kluber’s Fastball – Collecting 11 strikeouts isn’t a big surprise these days when Kluber is on the hill, and he allowed only one run across eight innings of work. He started his afternoon by nailing this 95 MPH front-door Fastball to get Dexter Fowler looking. (Thanks to Reddit user Saydrex for the tip!)

Corey Kluber’s Curveball – Kluber’s entire repertoire was working Monday, and it would have been unfair to leave off this Curveball to Chris Coghlan as it fell down and in.

Kris Medlen’s Fastball – Medlen had his first start as a Royal Monday night, and he earned himself the Win despite a shaky first inning. He displayed solid Fastball command, such as this riding Fastball to freeze Chris Davis.

Nathan Eovaldi’s Splitter – Eovaldi pitched one of his best games as a Yankee last night, silencing the Astros across eight innings. Increased velocity on his Splitter has been a catalyst for his success, and this one at 91 MPH was a beauty.
