Johnny Cueto‘s Changeup #1 – It was the performance KC fans were hoping for from their Dreaded Ace as Cueto went the distance to put the Royals up 2-0 in the series. He executed some excellent Changeups through the night, like this beauty to fan Michael Conforto in the third inning.

Johnny Cueto‘s Changeup #2 – Cueto continued dealing with his Changeup, as he also struck out Yoenis Cespedes with the pitch in the seventh inning. It featured some excellent late fade to dip right under the slugger’s bat.

Jacob deGrom‘s Slider – deGrom started strong before getting Singled Out in the sixth inning. He collected his first strikeout of the game by freezing Eric Hosmer with this tight Slider in the second inning.

Johnny Cueto‘s Fastball – Cueto was looking great out of the gate, and struck out the NLCS MVP with a perfect frontdoor Fastball that barely hit the strikezone.

Jacob deGrom‘s Changeup – The broadcast almost missed this fantastic pitch from deGrom as he got Kendrys Morales on his front foot and chasing a Changeup down and away for strike one.
