Fernando Rodneys’s Changeup – Rodney got what we call a dirty Win, after giving up the go-ahead run to the Giants only to be the last pitcher standing for the Diamondbacks as they earned the walk-off victory. It wasn’t as if he pitched so terribly though, as he featured some nasty pitches including this Changeup with wicked movement against Brandon Crawford.

Masahiro Tanaka’s Slider – It wasn’t the prettiest of performances from Tanaka, but he managed to execute some slick pitches like this Slider to Derrek Norris that cut off the plate at the last moment.

Madison Bumgarner’s Curveball – Bumgarner did his work in the first game of the season on both sides of the plate and he earned his first strikeout of the season with his deuce. Watch the ball go from the center of the plate to well inside the batter’s box in a hurry.

Chris Archer’s Slider – Despite not collecting the strikeout total expected from Archer, the Rays’ ace showed off his upside with this gorgeous 91mph slide piece to Aaron JudgeThat’s faster than some pitcher’s Fastballs in the majors…

Carlos Martinez’s Fastball/Changeups – CarMart established his dominance as the Cardinals ace while he shut down the mighty Cubs offense on Sunday evening. He struck out the side in the second inning with a 100mph heater and a pair of Changeups that make you wonder how on earth batters are expected to get on base against him.
