Chris Sale’s Slider – Sale’s hurricane slider is back in action, breaking hard at the back foot of poor Gary Sanchez. Sale finished with eight strikeouts in six innings in Boston’s win over the Yankees.

Felix Hernandez’s Changeup – The King may have lost his crown over the last few years, but he still has some tricks up his sleeve. His ‘trick’ in this case is a devastating 90 mile per hour changeup that falls right off the table, leaving Cheslor Cuthbert grasping at straws.

Tyler Skaggs‘ Curveball – Skaggs had trouble with his command today, but he still managed to baffle Elvis Andrus with his big, loopy curveball. He finished with seven strikeouts and four walks in five innings. (Thanks to Redditor Texas_Rangers for the tip!)

Aaron Nola’s Curveball – Nola had a great start against the Reds on Tuesday. His curveball was working all night, this time catching Billy Hamilton way out on his front foot.

Aaron Sanchez’s Changeup – Sanchez tossed eight innings of one run ball on Tuesday to earn the win for Toronto. Changeups like this one to left-hander Pedro Alvarez were a huge reason why.

Aaron Nola had a sick 2 seamer last night that I thought was more impressive then that curveball. The guy just walked away

  2. Jordan says:

Good clip of Sanchez but he threw a changeup in the 3rd that dipped out of the strike zone like my dad going to buy a pack of cigarettes from the gas station.

  3. Brian says:

Prince Felix even had the radar gun fooled on that changeup. No way that was more than 83.

  4. Rich says:

Pretty sure it’s Jesse Winker and not Billy Hamilton in the Nola gif – awesome stuff as always!

  5. Travis Brown says:

Tough one to vote on this week. Some of those changeups were just disgusting.
