Chaz Roe’s Slider – The legend of Chaz Roe’s Slider continues two years after winning the GIF tournament with the same pitch. Here we have another pitch that was taken for a ball, but let’s marvel as it travelled from one edge of the plate to the other in super slow motion. Incredible.
Miguel Castro’s Fastball – A great complement to Roe’s pitch would be this Castro Fastball, which darted in the opposite direction, landing right on the outside corner at a blistering 97mph. All Kendrys Morales could do was hope it would be called a ball.
Zack Greinke’s Curveball – Greinke’s stuff is routinely GIF worthy, though we adore watching his slow 74mph Curveball work its magic as it goes from nose to toes, punching out DJ LaMehieu Monday night.
Carlos Carrasco’s Changeup – Carrasco has been lights out in six of his last seven starts and set the tone early against the Tigers. Check out the excellent tumbling action he got on this 3-2 Changeup that sent Alex Presley back to the dugout.
Alex Claudio’s Slider – Claudio has been getting a good amount of save chances for the Rangers and put the game in the books with this deadly Slider to Jean Segura. Talk about a demoralizing way to lose a game.
David Robertson’s Curveball – It’s a treat for Yankee fans to see Robertson in pinstripes once again, especially when he’s Curveball is on point. Lucas Duda couldn’t handle the pitch in the fifth inning last night as it fell into his blind spot for the final out of the frame.
