Aaron Sanchez’s Fastball – That is some seriously filthy movement on Sanchez’s fastball. It looked pretty painful for Khris Davis to attempt to hit that one. That was a strike even if he didn’t swing, but it it was untouchable.

Tyler Skaggs‘ Curveball – Skaggs had a great start with the only blemish being a solo homerun but his former teammate. Funny how that works. This was a beautiful big bendy curve ball that dove across the plate.

Andrew Triggs‘ Slider – Triggs left this game early with a forearm issues but not before he let fly some pretty awesome pitches like this slider that Josh Donaldson missed by like a foot.

Kenley Jansen’s Cutter – Ouch. You aren’t going to touch this one with that late sharp movement. Good luck!

James Shields‘ Curveball – Shields had himself a good night with 8 Ks over 7 innings – unlike Rougned who looked pretty silly here.

Adam Ottavino’s Fastball – Look at that. It’s an Ottavino pitch that isn’t a slider! This fastball is just as nasty. 96 MPH, great movement, right on the corner. This dude is a wizard with a baseball.

Kenta Maeda’s Slider – Maeda had a 36% whiff rate on his slider and it was just plain nasty all night long. Starting in the zone and diving away like that is going to get your places if you are Maeda.

David Price’s Fastball – Price tossed a complete game and was dealing. He just missed throwing a shutout but he finished the game and struck out 8 in the process.
