Aaron Nola’s Fastball – It was another happy Nola day indeed for fantasy owners, as Nola struck out eight in 7 2/3 strong innings against the Nationals. That included fanning Brian Goodwin with this nasty two-seamer with late arm side run.

Clayton Kershaw’s Curveball – Kershaw’s second game back went much better than his first, as he struck out six in five solid innings of work. His devastating curveball was back, getting poor Javy Baez swinging out of his shoes here in the first inning.

Michael Fulmer’s Fastball – Check out Fulmer bringing this 98 mile per hour gas can up and in on Dustin Fowler. He manages to run this thing right back onto the inside corner for strike three, one of his five strikeouts on the day.

Zack Greinke’s Curveball – It didn’t take long for Greinke to bust out his new eephus pitch on Thursday. He used it a handful of times, including here to Marlins first baseman Justin Bour who watched this pitch flutter by him in slow motion for a strike.

Tayron Guerrero’s Fastball – Hard two-seam fastballs are nearly unhittable. There were plenty of those on Thursday, including this Guerrero heater that just scorched the outside corner for a strike. Pure filth.

Jake Odorizzi’s Splitter – Odorizzi tossed six shutout innings on Thursday, striking out eight. His trademark splitter was money, here getting Avisail Garcia chasing.

Jimmy Yacabonis‘ Fastball – It’s a fastball party here at Nastiest Pitches, and even starters off the Orioles scrap heap are getting invites. Yacabonis has had a very hard time finding his command in the show, but flashed some nice potential with a solid outing on Thursday. His two-seamer has a lot of life to it, here getting a crucial strike three with a ton of late run.
